Community Wellbeing Agent

£8,879 per annum
21 hours per week
Fixed Term Contract up to 30th March 2022


We are looking Community Wellbeing Agent to join our team based in Stroud

You will work collaboratively with Statutory and Community groups across Stroud and Berkeley Vale to develop and deliver an innovative asset-based service, which aims to improve the Health and Wellbeing of Stroud residents. You will work with clients aged 16 plus. The role will involve:

  • Working with individuals on a 1:1 basis using a strengths based approach (over a number sessions) to help them to identify their health and wellbeing needs

  • Establishing working partnerships with GP surgeries across Stroud and Berkeley Vale

  • Use community resources to link individuals into services that promote independence and self-care

The successful candidate will have a positive and ‘can do approach with previous experience of working with individuals who may be vulnerable, have a flexible approach to team working, as well as the ability to travel across the county.
