Independence Trust is looking for a dynamic individual to take up the post of Team Leader for our new Community Wellbeing Service covering the Stroud and Berkeley Vale Locality.
The service brings together Social Prescribing and Village Agents services across the county. To make one exciting innovative service, which seeks to make use of the strengths in the local community by working closely with the GP practices; voluntary and statutory sector services to connect individuals to local services that can support them.
If you think, you have the vision and skills to:
- Manage a skilled team, ensuring targets are met
- Provide supervision, support and guidance to the team
- Work with the Service Delivery Manager to develop the Locality
- As, well as managing an agreed caseload

You will be proactive in promoting and developing the service across Stroud linking in with a range of services and providers, attending meeting with stakeholders that support the development, and positive promotion of the service to a variety of professionals
The successful applicant will need to be experienced in delivering person centred and strength-focused services that enable and empower individuals to build links and networks within their local communities.
You should have the ability to offer a highly flexible approach to individuals within your working hours to cover a Contract that includes occasional evening/weekend work according to need.
