We are looking for a Community Connector to develop our work with Young People across the Stroud area, you will be based at our offices in Stroud and work at venues across the Stroud District. The role will involve:
Working closely with existing providers of Young People’s services in the Stroud District
Provide information to Young People about health and wellbeing
Meet individuals on a 1to1 basis to help them to identify their health and wellbeing needs, and help them to locate local resources in the community that can help them achieve identified needs
We work with a person-centred approach to ensure we meet the needs of the individual and to maintain the individual’s independence.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in challenging conditions with individuals who may be vulnerable, have a flexible approach to team working, as well as the ability to travel across the county. A full driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential.
